JOB OPPORTUNITY : STUDIO ASSISTANT
Hey everyone! My wife and I are both artists and we share a studio space in Dallas. We are currently looking for a studio assistant who lives in the Dallas area to help assist us with various tasks. We hope to find someone who is versatile, eager to learn, and can help us increase our overall production in the studio. We both have amazing supporters and collectors from all over the world and would love to create more stuff for them. Unfortunately, there are only so many hours in the day and only so many tasks we can individually tackle. We need help!
This position will be a contract labor gig and will first begin on a part-time basis. Work duties vary depending on artists' needs and can range from general studio upkeep to highly specialized assistance. Pay will be determined based on experience.
Studio Assistant Duties & Responsibilities
This job generally requires the ability to do the following work:
Painting in acrylic, oil, spray paint
General woodworking skills (miter saw, jigsaw, table saw, etc.)
Digital large-format printing
General fulfillment + shipping of products
General organization (digital and physical)
Running errands
General studio cleaning and upkeep
Studio Assistant Skills
Art school background or general knowledge about the art-world
Ability to multitask & have organizational skills
General computer skills and familiarity with adobe programs
Must have a working vehicle
Must like/feel comfortable around dogs (they’re small but still)

Typical work hours are Mon-Fri 10am- 6pm
Studio is located in West Dallas’ Tin District
